The money you save with JN Bank UK is protected up to £85,000 per person by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). All the money you save with us, whether in one or multiple accounts is counted towards this limit. You should also note, that if you have any other JN Bank UK accounts opened through a savings platform then these deposits also count towards the total limit of £85,000.

We offer an Easy Access Savings Account or Fixed Term Savings Accounts over terms of 1 to 5 years.
Fixed Term Savings Account
A Fixed Term Savings Account helps you to save towards a longer-term savings goal, such as a wedding, a house deposit, or a dream holiday. These accounts** pay a fixed rate of interest for a fixed number of months or years.
These will have terms of between 1 to 5 years. The interest rate is usually higher than our Easy Access Savings Account because you cannot access your money until the fixed term ends.

Interest is calculated daily, paid annually into your fixed-term account.

Easy Access Savings Account
An Easy Access Savings Account is a convenient and flexible way to save. You can make as many withdrawals and deposits as you wish. It is ideal if you are just starting on your savings journey or if you have a larger balance and want to retain easy access to your funds. A simple and effective way to get into the savings habit, with the security of access to your cash straightaway - should you need it.

Savings FAQs
All UK residents aged 18 years and over, who have a UK mobile phone, email address and a UK bank account are eligible.
You can click here, choose a product for you, and complete the account opening process online. You may also visit our branch in Brixton or call our customer services team on 0808 196 1945 for any assistance.
The account opening process can all be done electronically. However, in some instances you may be asked to produce the following:
- a Valid Photo ID (passport, driving licence, government issued ID)
- proof of UK address (utility bill, bank statement or Council Tax bill) dated within the last 3 months
Once you have completed the application process, (including the upload of any documents if applicable), your application will be processed. Once your account is open, we will email you your account information, including:
- sort code
- account number
- account opening date
- For Easy Access, interest is calculated daily and paid monthly into your Easy Access account
- For 1 Year Fixed Term, interest is calculated daily, and paid at maturity. For 15 Month, 2 Year, 3 Year, 4 Year, and 5 Year Fixed Term terms, interest is calculated daily, paid annually and at maturity
- This is any UK bank current account, in your name, that you can link to your JN Bank, so you can transfer funds into and from it.
