Hope Atrium's From Surviving to Thriving Graduation - June 8th 2024

The Hope Atrium CIC based in Wandsworth, London hosted their graduation at the JN Bank UK branch on Saturday June 8^th 2024. The event was a celebration for twelve newly trained wellbeing champions who completed their ‘From Surviving to Thriving’ (FS2T) programme. The programme was done over a 18-month period. Some participants received qualifications and were awarded as ambassadors of the programme.

Our Deputy CEO, Paulette Simpson CBE attended the event and presented the certificates and special awards during the ceremony. She also welcomed attendees to the JN Bank UK branch community space. Information was shared about the JN Group entities in the UK and the products and services they offer.

 Dr. Carlis Douglas a trustee of the CIC and Director of the programme gave a presentation on ‘Imagining a Mentally Healthy Black Community’ which was well received by the audience. There was also a breakout session where people spoke about the topic in groups. Most of the groups gave feedback that they would like to see greater accessibility to mental health care and services for everyone.
