What you need to know
From 19 January 2026, we'll be known as This Bank Limited (instead of JN Bank UK Limited), you will see our name appear on materials like this: thisbank. You'll also see this new name in our Terms & Conditions and all customer documents. Any mention of 'we', 'us', 'our', or 'JN Bank UK' can now be read as referring to This Bank Limited.
Here's what's changing:
- Our new website: www.thisbank.co.uk (you'll be redirected if you visit the old site). This new website will only be live from 19 January.
- New email address: @thisbank.co.uk
- Emails will come from @thisbank.co.uk
- please mark it as safe to never miss an update
- Any verification text messages and other communications will come from 'thisbank'
- Our Customer Support number remains the same and you can keep using your current login details until 18 January.

We have 150 years of experience doing things the traditional way, always focused on you, your money, and your future. But the world is changing, and we need to change too.
So, we're introducing a new name and a fresh look, but more importantly, a new way of thinking. One that builds on our long history and experience, while looking ahead to better serve you in a fast-moving world.
Our new brand is all about making your banking simple and convenient. This includes a shiny new mobile savings app and online savings portal (for savings customers) and a new website, designed by experts to make banking intuitive and user friendly. We'll also be launching exciting new products designed with you in mind in the future.
All your current products and services will stay the same. Eligible deposits will continue to be protected by the FSCS, up to £120,000 per person. You can also expect the same great customer service from the same team.
You'll notice that we'll have a new look and name. More than this, though, we're taking your banking experience to a new level. If you're a savings customer, you'll have access to a new online savings portal and mobile savings app, both designed to make managing your money easier. We're also looking forward to bringing you new products that'll help you achieve your goals.
Only if you have savings with us, and nothing right now. We're launching a new Online Savings Portal and Mobile Savings App from 19 January. You can start using our new internet banking after you receive our email with step-by-step instructions.
You'll just need to log in with your email address and create a new password. Your profile will be set up using the email we already have on file. We'll share a step-by-step guide when it's time.
If you currently use the old savings portal, you'll still need a new password because the old portal will no longer be available after 19 January.
If you're a lending customer, you can keep using your existing login details on our newly branded Online Lending Portal. You can access it through our new website starting 19 January or continue using the current link until then. Other than that, there's nothing else you need to do.
If you have savings products with JN Bank UK
- From the 19 January, we're launching a new Online Savings Portal and Mobile Savings App making it easier than ever to manage your money.
- To get started, log in with your email address and create a new password. Your profile will be set up using the email we already have on file. We'll share a step-by-step guide when it's time, you'll get these during the first week of our new brand.
- If you currently use the old savings portal, you'll still need a new password because the old portal will no longer be available after 19 January.
- Starting from 19 January we'll send you an email with the new link and instructions when we launch the new experience. This could take a few days to arrive. Until then, there isn't anything you need to do.


If you have a loan with JN Bank UK
- Your desktop login platform will function the same, but the colours and logo will be updated to our new brand
- If you have any Direct Debits, your statements will now say 'thisbank' and not 'JN Bank UK'
- Any loan statements you get from us will also show our new name and new brand
If you make manual loan payments:
Just note it takes up to two weeks for banks to update their databases with our new name, so if you need any extra support when making a payment, give us a call at 0808 196 1945.
