Royal Mail Mount Pleasant Jamaican Association – Jamaica Independence Celebration

The Royal Mail Mount Pleasant Jamaican Staff Association hosts an annual celebration in commemoration of Jamaica’s Independence Day. The JN Group UK entities have sponsored this initiative for many years. Over the past 2 years JN Bank UK have supported the event since it restarted.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Jamaica Cancer Society and the Jamaica Society for the Blind. The JN Group has worked closely with the Jamaica Cancer Society for many years to help raise funds and to improve awareness of the cause. The chairperson for the Society is our very own Earl Jarrett, CEO for the JN Group and Non-Executive Director for JN Bank UK.

This year the event raised over £1,000 and we were pleased that our donation of a gift hamper, helped to achieve this outcome.
