NTCG 70th Anniversary Convention and Celebration

From Thursday August 24th to Sunday August 27th, over 3,000 members of the New Testament Church of God (NTCG) gathered from around the country at the International Convention Centre in Newport, Wales. This was to celebrate their 70th anniversary and to ‘reimagine their mission’ as they seek to be more ‘relevant and relational’ in the communities they serve.

JN Bank UK was a proud sponsor and happy to be a part of this historic milestone. It gave us the opportunity to be a part of something special, which matters to this faith community. Many of the members are already customers of JN Group with whom there is a long-established relationship, spanning a few decades. We were pleased to introduce JN Bank UK to many of the attendees from our promotional stand and to share information about our products and services with them.

At the 70th Anniversary Awards Luncheon, JN Bank UK had the privilege to present awards for a few of the categories. This was to recognise those who have served the church with distinction over the last 70 years. There were a range of corporate stalls from different sectors at the event whom we were able to meet and connect with. The Administrative Bishop and the leaders of the church hosted a reception to thank all the stallholders and sponsors for being there and supporting their event.

In his address at the opening ceremony, Leon Hamilton (Head of Customer Services & Collections) emphasised that JN is on a mission to ‘enrich lives and build communities’. One of the ways we fulfil this mission is by connecting with our customers and the wider communities and supporting things which matter to them.
